Testimonials

“I heard your keynote, Amplifying Your Voice, for Women’s History Month and all I can say is “WOW”!

I love your approach to life and how you authentically share your story.  My comments to your presentation are:

  • I love the way you weave in the real-life experience and share the how as participants share their examples or ask their questions.  You respond in such an authentic way, giving tools of how to execute, this is rare~

  • I Loved the subject and the way you related to all aspects of a person's life, especially how you empower women and those who have been marginalized.

  • I always leave conversations like this with certain phrases or thoughts that resonate with me, and the words you us like silent outcome or take emotion and pride out of the conversation are great for everyone to be reminded of if we truly want to be inclusive.

Thank you for sharing your trauma and being so transparent and vulnerable during this keynote and also for giving a personal example of when you didn't amplify your voice in reference to raising your children and moving through your career being the only woman and minority, however you got there and created a seat and a voice at the table for others.

Thanks for your transparency, you are truly a dynamic speaker and have the experience to help others in an impactful way. I always walk away more aware, stimulated and equipped to make a change.”

“Scharrell was keynote speaker focusing on Inclusion and Belonging for the Women's Symposium of Southern California event on International Women's Day. She was amazing, inspirational, motivating and entertaining. She reinforced our theme "Power Up -- Knowledge is Empowering!" and embraced our mission of financial literacy. She represents the success story of how women despite the challenges and obstacles along the way with determination, perseverance and smarts, they achieve greatness and then share their wisdom to support others. She captured the audience and took them with her through her story. This is a women I want on my team! Susan Viator, Chairperson Program Committee, WSSC”

I was part of the Better Together meeting this afternoon and just wanted to say WOW. You have a way of making uncomfortable conversations comfortable. Everything you said was spot on. I like to think that I have the same type of personality as you, AUTHENTIC. I have been trying to work on myself more recently, as a woman fighting the stereotypes that come with being assertive. I know that I can come off as intense or direct sometimes just because I am comfortable with myself in the way, but I do find that I can struggle with tone or how I say things to people that could come off to them as an attack or offend them. Today you taught me to have empathy and mercy for people on my journey to the top. You never know the walk people take in day in and day out and what they struggle with. I felt as if your presentation was fit for my situation and I just wanted to say THANK YOU! You are amazing and I know just in that short hour you definitely have given us an outstanding message that everyone can resonate with.

Walsworth would like to express its gratitude to keynote speaker, corporate consultant, and executive coach Scharrell Jackson for presenting to our firm on the relevance of Juneteenth and implementing positive change. In addition to serving in executive #leadership positions for more than three decades, Scharrell is the Founder and CEO of Leadership in Heels, a women’s speaker series focused on personal and #professionaldevelopment, #authenticity, and confidence.

Scharrell’s presentation covered several relevant, timely, and actionable topics, including fostering collaboration, establishing effective mentorship programs, and nurturing a #culture of belonging. She provided us with a roadmap to continue our #diversity, #equity, and #inclusion initiatives to give everyone at the firm a seat and a voice at the table. Scharrell’s enthusiasm, insights, honesty, and perspective resonated with firm leadership and staff members alike. We are all very grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from such a passionate and inspirational leader in the business #community.
